Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Leh (By Flight)
Attractions: Day reserved for acclimatization)
A Traditional Welcome by our Tour Representative on your arrival at Leh Airport (Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochey Airport) and will be taken to your pre-booked Hotel. Check in at your room and relax for the whole day. Day is reserved for acclimatization which is an important part of this tour.

Day 02: Leh (Surrounding Monasteries)
Attractions: Shey Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery
After breakfast proceed to explore some of the astounding and primeval monasteries of Leh. Visit the 17th Century Shey Gompa which served as a summer palace to the kings of Ladakh. Next to the Shey Gompa is the collection of Gompas and Stupas. A 40 Ft Buddha statue is the prime attraction here. Thiksey Monastery will be another attraction of the sightseeing. Thiksey Monastery is also regarded as the most royal monasteries in Ladakh. Later visit the Hemis Monastery, amongst the famous monasteries in Ladakh. At the end of the Tour, return to your Hotel and relax.

Day 03: Leh – Alchi (Distance Approx 60 Kms)
Attractions: Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill
Check-out from the Hotel and drive to Alchi along the Indus River (The Asia’s longest River). The journey from Leh to Alchi passes through the picturesque villages of Saspol and Nimmo. Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib on the way to Alchi, a famous Sikh shrine devoted to Guru Nanak Dev. After revering at the Gurudwara drive continue to Alchi and take a break at the Magnetic Hill, also called as Gravity Hill. Magnetic hill is amongst the favorite halt point for travelers in a private transport to Leh. On the way witness the charming scenery where Zanskar River converges with Indus River. Alchi is stunningly beautiful village and home to most prominent Monasteries in Ladakh, also famous for conserving thousand years old paintings. Day 04: Alchi – Lamayuru (Distance Approx 60 Kms)
Attractions: Lamayuru Monastery
Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and proceed to Lamayuru, the starting point of your trek. The road to Lamayuru is steady climb and comprises of many switchbacks. Set you camp on your arrival at Lamayuru. After freshen-up, proceeds to the famous 16th Century Lamayuru Monastery. At the end of the tour, return to your camp and relax.

Day 05: Lamayuru – Wanla
Attractions: Wanla Monastery
Check-out from the Camp after breakfast and start trekking to Wanla through the Prinkiti La Pass situated around 12300 feet. Upon your arrival at Wanla, check-in at the pre-booked Guest and relax. Later visit the ancient Wanla Monastery believed to be built in 1000 A.D. At the end of the Tour, return to the Guesthouse and relax.

Day 06: Wanla - Hinju (12200 feet / 5-6 Hours)
Attractions: Phonjila Pass
Check-out from the Guest House after your breakfast and trek through the beautiful villages of Ladakh and Phonjila Pass situated 11000 feet and later arrives at pastures of Hinju Village. Upon your arrival at Hinju, set your camp and relax.

Day 07: Hinju - Sumdo Doksa (14500 feet) via Kongskil La Pass 16200 feet) 6 – 7 Hours
Attractions: Kongskil La Pass
Check-out from the Camp after your breakfast and proceed for a gradually rising trail to Kongskil La Ridge. From Kongskil La Ridge enjoy the best scenery of Stok and Karakoram region. The map on the other side of the Pass is tough to read and navigate. Upon your arrival at Sumdo Doksa, set your camp and relax.

Day 08: Sumdo Doksa - Dung Dung Chan La Base (14500 ft) 5 – 6 Hours
Attractions: Sumda Chenmo village
Check-out from the camp after your breakfast and proceed to Dung Dung Chan La Base while crossing through the beautiful rivers. Later you will reach Sumda Chenmo village and enjoy the beautiful lush green landscapes of the village. Further the trail passes through another river crossing and then gradually ascends and offering a beautiful views of edelweiss along with other rare species of flowers in Ladakh. Upon your arrival at Dung Dung Chan La Base, set your camp and relax. From the base, enjoy the panoramic view of Konskila.

Day 09: Dung Dung Chan La Base - Chilling (11700 feet) 5 – 6 Hours
Attractions: Chilling Village
Check-out from the camp after your breakfast and proceed to Chilling through a rising trail. Later the trail slides down to the ancient Chilling Village which is the only village in Ladakh which has been supplying metal work to the Leh market from many centuries. Upon your arrival at Chilling, set your camp here and relax.
