Day 04: Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Bodhgaya (Excursion Tour)

Attractions: Gridhkutta (Vulture's peak), World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram, Bimbisar Prison and ruins of the world’s first residential University. 

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Rajgir and Nalanda along with our Tour Representative.  Rajgir is situated in the Nalanda district in the Indian state of Bihar and an important sacred destination for Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religion. Many artifacts related to Jainism and Buddhism have been recovered during the archaeological excavations in this region. It is believed that Gautam Buddha had spend a significant number of months at this place. NDTV and Times of India and media agencies have featured the Konark Sun Temple as one of the Seven Wonders of India. The Konark Sun Temple is also called as Black Pagoda and is believed to be built by King Narsingh Deva (First) of the Ganga Dynasty. The Temple is now almost in the ruins state.  The ruins of the monument are carefully preserved in the Temple Museum which is administered by Archaeological Survey of India.
