A Traditional Welcome by our Tour Representative on your arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station followed with transfers to Itanagar which is around 330 Kms from Guwahati. Itanagar is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh and filled with immense beauty of the snow clad hills and the beautiful lakes. This scenic town is nestled in the lap of Mother Nature and has many things to be offered which would surely gratify you. Upon your arrival at Itanagar, check-in at your pre-reserved Hotel and relax. The city offers panoramic views of snow clad Mountains of the Eastern Himalayas. Bomdila is beautifully adorned with Apple Gardens, rich culture, snow capped mountains and Gompas (Buddhist Monasteries) and considered amongst the leading tourist destinations of Arunachal Pradesh. Day 04: Bomdila Sightseeing

Start your day with the beautiful Sessa Orchid Sanctuary which was established in 1979 and the origination of several rivers. Day 05: Bomdila – Tawang via Dirang Valley and Nuranang Falls (Distance Approx 250 Kms)

Check-out from the Hotel after your Breakfast and proceed to Tawang. En-route you will visit the stunning Dirang Valley which is located in between Bomdila and Tawang. Dirang is popular for its hot water springs, apple gardens and mind-boggling picturesque landscapes. It is a paradise for Birdwatchers and trekkers and home to several medicinal plantations. Later proceed to Nuranang Falls which is a spectacular waterfall surrounded by hills and extreme greenery. It is a paradise for nature lovers. It is believed that the town was named after a local girl named Nura who had helped the soldier Jaswant Singh Rawat, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous) in 1962 Indo-China war. Tawang is the point where the 14th Dalai Lama and his followers entered into India for asylum in 1959 and it is also believed that Tawang is the birth place of 6th Dalai Lama. Tawang Monastery IS the largest monastery in India also known as GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE. The Tawang War Memorial exemplifies to the sacrificed martyrs of 1962, Indo-China war. Jaswant Garh was named after the name of Late Jaswant Singh Rawat, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous) who was the martyr of Sino-Indian War in the year 1962. The stunning Sho-nga Tseir Lake has been named after famous Bollywood female actor Madhuri Dixit her movie shooted at this beautiful Lake. At the end of the Tour, return to your Hotel and relax.

Day 07: Tawang – Bum La Pass (Excursion Tour)
Attractions: Bum La Pass
Early morning proceed for an excursion tour to Bum La Pass with our Tour Representative. The Bum La Pass is situated around 35 Kms ahead of Tawang at the Indo-China Border and is located approx 16,500 feet above the sea level. It is also a historical route as in 1962 the China Army invaded India using the same route and the Pass had witnessed one of the fiercest battles. It is believed that Dalai Lama had entered India using the same Pass and it is considered to be one of the most off-beat passes in the world. After spending few hours at the beautiful Bum La Pass, return to your Hotel in Tawang and relax.

Day 08: Tawang – Sela pass – Bomdila (Distance Approx 240 Kms)
Attractions: Sela Pass
Check-out from the Hotel and drive to Bomdila. En-route we will visit the Sela Pass which is one of the World’s Second Highest Motor-able Road and connects the Buddhist city of Tawang with the rest of the country. This region of the Eastern Himalayan is special and sanctified in the Buddhist religion as it is believed that there are around 101 Lakes exist in the surroundings of Sela Pass and each of these Lakes has a religious association with the Buddhist community. It is believed that name “Sela” is given after a tribal woman who had brought food and water every day for Late Jaswant Singh Rawat (A Soldier of Indian Army) who lost his life during the Indo-China War in the year 1962.
